Both sizes combine a compact outline with generous width and volume for easy paddling and speed in smaller waves. Choose more volume for added stability and wave-catching ability, or less volume for a looser, more playful feel.

Intermediate rider guides are intended as a starting point when choosing between sizes. Progressing surfers may prefer the added stability and volume of the larger size, while experienced surfers can choose either size based on their preferred feel, volume and conditions.
